I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to explain to people how turbos (and intercoolers, and wastegates, and BOV/BPV's) work. Tough to do with a cocktail napkin & a ball point pen. Thanks for taking the time to put it together in a concise & clear manner.

| Not Ranked : 0 score maybe write about if it is necessary to let the car idle after hard driving before turning it off. I have read that our turbos K04 are water cooled so this isn't necessary? If you could clear that up it would be AMAZING!! great write up!! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hmm.. I'm a bit worried now! I just installed a SRI the other day and I've noticed that when I let off the gas I hear that compressor surge sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could this have been happening with the stock air box and I just couldn't hear it??? What should I do? I have a TurboXS RFL bov, so perhaps I should experiment with the washers in it to see if the sound will go away? I'm thinking there are too many washers in it so it's not venting the compressed air early enough. Please some one help! Until I saw the video in this write up I figured my SRI was just wobbling and that was the noise I heard  On a good note, this is an amazing write up! |
