(Thread Starter) |  Turbo upgrade without a custom tune Sup guys, I'm tempted to upgrade my stock K04. But as most of you know, the Mexican FAIL-ECU doesn't recognizes COBB AccessPort and COBB is "too busy" to help us...  So, without a custom tune we only have Hypertech or Piasini as a solution. I have the Hypertech and it has worked great on my car... But... I've been checking lots of threads of turbo upgrade uptions such as PTP, ATP, BNR... that I'm tempted to get one of those... I don't want an extremely BIG turbo, but something that can go PNP without any other issue... (Maybe BNR Stage 1 or 2..) What options do you recommend? Will it work with my Hypertech tune? Should I use a manual boost controller? Thanks everyone in advance!

| Not Ranked : 0 score The big question is regarding boost control. If you choose to use the stock solenoid and ECU with a non stock turbo and wastegate you can run into issues (too much or too little boost). Using an independent boost controller in this case my address the issue. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I got a US ECU that you can buy from me, that's if you want to go CP-e or Cobb tunes. Only thing is I haven't found the spare key for the ECU so you will have to reprogram your keys to the ECU.
