(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It's a 944 turbo. I'm not sure the exact science behind the center bearing housing change but I know there are two different styles of k04 center bearings, a single and a double hole center bearing. I am not sure of the advantages and disadvantages of each. All I was told was that the new mazda turbo has an "improved oil seal" what ever that means. I got my turbo replaced by a service contract. The original lasted 106k so I hope the new one treats me as well. PS the k26 in my 944 has 145k on it and is still going strong. |
