| Not Ranked : 0 score The turbo is under warranty until 7k, or 7 years. It's the 7 years at this point that will get you. I had the same problem at 80k+ miles. At idle it would fart out smoke clouds. I went banjo bolt and raised idle but it didn't help so I had to idle at like 1.5k rpms manually or just shut the car off at stop lights. Just this past week did I got my BNR s3 installed and never looked back. Such a great feeling to be able to idle again. Just go with the new turbo instead of dicking around with that pos K04. And when you stock back out, it changes the crankcase pressure back to normal and you wont see the smoke. Mine didn't smoke until I put my Test pipe on, and BAM, smoke. It's ironic lol. |
