(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Well it's installed and everything. Lemme tell you, this thing was a pain in the tits to get in there. Makes it easier for me to understand why Mazda put that pancaked POS in there instead. I only took it for a quick spin, but I definitely noticed a difference with it. I have about an hour and a half drive back to school, so I'll report back later on what I think. And yes I took a bunch of pics, which I'll post when I get back. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So here are the pics. Sorry about the lack of quality, but I had to use my cell phone . . . They are pretty self explanatory. I took one with the infamous 45 degree coupler on there, because I thought you guys might be curious about that. Also there is one with the battery tray to show how jammed in it is. One problem that I had was metal shavings on the inside of the inlet, which I'm glad I checked and cleaned out before installing, because I would not be very happy if that shit went through my engine. Other than that, this was a nice upgrade. I notice an improvement, although part of that could be because I tightened my intercooler tubes (which I remember reading that someone suggested). I don't hear my stock bpv as much, but the turbo sounds amazing. Not that this turbo really ever lags, but It seems like any hesitation that was there is gone. I hit the gas, it spikes to about 17-18lbs, drops to 15 and holds. Any other questions, feel free to ask. And thanks to Lenny and Sneaky for helping my dumbass along the way. |

MEdieval is actually over-stocked on the inlets now, so there no questions about availability. And to add, it's back with the Medieval Life Time warranty like the rest of their parts. | Not Ranked : 0 score Were you able to bolt the battery tray back up? I had problems with getting the battery tray back in, and had to cut of portions of it, and still only able to get one bolt back, but it seems secure, so I'll probably leave it like that. |
