(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm currently running an AEM Truboost(which sucks) Can I run this turbo with the stock BCS until I get a Grimspeed 3 port? What are the disadvantages to doing this? Do I need to do anything different? Any restrictor pill? Thanks |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think its fine. Someone like @Lex; could say for sure. I made my own 3 port for pretty cheap. Hit me with a PM since you are local and I might be able to help save you some cash.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just ran into a similiar issue, why not run Wastegate spring pressure only? Run a line from boost source to wastegate top nipple (check this to make sure). How to route your BCS lines 2 and 3 port, iwg and ewg ^^ should get you on your way edit: this is temporary until you get your 3 port; and you should feel out your boost first to make sure you aren't overboosting if your wastegate is F'd

| Not Ranked : 0 score The most effective way to run with the stock ebcs is to add the Stratified boost dial. Otherwise you won't be able to increase boost pressure much over spring.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hmmmm upon further inspection, could I use the AEM solenoid? It's a MAC. It looks decent. How would I wire it to the stock harness. I'm at work so I'm gonna look into it tonight. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The AEM solenoid should work fine. You just need to either source a connector or splice into the OEM harness. The OEM BCS doesn't have a removable connector.

Ill post pics in a few. It actually turned out nice ![]() I think I'm all set. Just ordered a new boost gauge cause the truboost gauge is useless without the bcs. So as soon as that arrives, I'll be able to start tuning this thing. It's running a map from Ptuning and boy does it suck. I can feel that it's being held back. The timing is just so low. I can't wait to get some power out of this thing. | |
