| Not Ranked : 0 score I would say do some more research because practically all of the FMIC kits available out there have some sort of different routing in the engine bay. I see the CX Racing FMIC piping a lot with a TR8 core and your choice of crash bar. Usually that combo should leave you with enough room for your cold air intake. I'd say this route is a better option. Or you could even get the JBR under piping kit and route the pipes under the engine, which mean more room up top. This is why I'm saying to review all the options because every manufacturer has a different way of routing. I think the only one that may not fit with a cold air intake is the Cobb FMIC because they pipes go down where the intake goes, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think the CX Racing piping goes down in front of your dipstick, so you should be okay with that. There should be a DIY on that somewhere on here so you can see how it's routed, maybe in the Gen 2 section, but I'll leave that for you to look up .

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would say not to worry about the CAI and get a regular, high flow filter and intake. The temperature difference you see with the CAI is almost meaningless as soon as the air hits the turbo, gets compressed, heats up 150 or more degrees, then gets cooled down by the intercooler etc. I'm a big fan of upgrading the TMIC and spraying Meth. Best flow and cooling of all worlds

| Not Ranked : 0 score I say build your own front mount! I built mine and saved a ton of money even after having the pipes powder coated.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Making a piping kit with pvc first so it's not so much of a trial and error. Take those measurements and try to find pre bent piping. I was lucky because my dad has access to a pipe bender at work.
