Yes, this is a good option for drag cars or cars that are driven in consistently HOT climates (desert etc.) However, for daily drivers in mixed climates, there is too much too much work involved to have it on a daily driver. Things like leaky cores/frozen cores are common in colder climates (in Chicago, we have a daytime temp of 45-50 and then bam 17 degrees-FUCK WINTER.) If you run distilled water the cooling is great, but it WILL freeze and then you have a problem. Running coolant is an option, but to realize the full benefit from the heat capacity of water, you have to run distilled, and purging the system day to day such as in my climate is a HUGE pain in the ass. FMIC/TMIC is a good, low hassle option, that in combination with meth can generate ambient or below ambient boost temps. -Jeff at PG
