Default FMIC and CAI fit question

I am ordering an FMIC from Cobb and want to get a CAI as well. I am having trouble finding enough information to tell what CAI will fit with the Cobb FMIC. Has anyone had any experience with this that could offer some advice (besides the expected SRI fans flaming this post)?

If no one jumps on this (I don't have an FMIC but do have a CAI), I'd just contact Cobb and ask them. Several of the FMIC manufacturers do have CAI's with the tubing shaped to work with the FMIC. I know TurboXS has both designed to work together and assume that others who make both products probably do too. Sorry I can't help more. Check with Cobb.

Thanks for the response on this one. Was wondering where everyone was. Probably on the "CAI's Suck!" threads! You are 100% correct. I just ordered the mated pair from Turbo XS. Thanks again!

My guess is that because makes the SF intake, they designed the kit to be used around their intake as well. I would guess that a CAI will not fit, only a short ram.

Damned happy to see a positive reply on that one. Just ordered it! The only thing I think I have left to order is the Shifter Bushings. I can't seem to find any good info on what people are using or where to order from. Anyone?
