(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I was browsing on the web for FMIC for the MS3 and typed in HP gains from FMIC on MS3 and I saw nothing about gains, but what I did see was this link to ebay selling CXRacing FMIC kit for the MS3. Is this legit because when I went on CXRacing's website I did not even see a kit for the MS3. CXRacing FMIC Turbo Intercooler kit MazdaSpeed 3 DISI : eBay Motors (item 160416864322 end time Apr-03-10 15:00:00 PDT) What do you guys think? |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I mean minus the bov that comes with it, is it a legit intercooler kit from CXRacing? I have heard about people using their cores with the PG pipes but if this is cheaper than PG's kit and its practically the same thing then why not? I already have a HKS bov which i will be using so i will not need the bov that comes with the kit but, idk lol. just trying to get feelers out there. Not trying to spend $950 plus for fmic. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score yeah I emailed CXracing and its legit, if u type in "mazdaspeed 3" in the search on the homepage it'll come up, but its more expensive on CXRacing than on Ebay, dont know why. Couple guys on here tried it, theres a thread on this exact subject...

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score it seems like there is a fight for the cheapest FMIC kit lol, i would figure PG would lower there price since its the same thing. I wonder if it fits the same way as I have seen with PG pipes and CXRacing core. I would assume it will. Well we get paid 3 times this month so that third pay check is like a bonus and I might have to make a purchase. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score so are you saying that PG's kit is Chinese stuff too? That is if its the same shit. Also what makes something "chinese" if all the metal and fab work is the same as anyother FMIC kit. Im pretty sure Cobb does not hand make every single FMIC kit they sell. Im not trying to bust on anyone I just want to know what "chinese" is referring to? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score the pg worked most importantly... didnt leak but i just couldnt live with fitment. it made my bumper bulge, the bpv looked poopy, and the bracket rusted. so i sold it for 300 complete(great deal on a new fmic came up) and when i removed it i must say it looked good. no dings or new scratches(aside from what i did installing), i just never like the one unrolled end, the 7 inch hose on the one side, and the hot pipe forever rubbed into my valve cover putting some nice scratches in the pipe(ok so i was wrong it did have nice chunk of damage). but for the price i would do the cxracing right now. it was just too much of a head ache dealing with pg and the delays. good luck.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score are you saying that you would sell you Cobb because of the price or does this kit actually look good for the price. I know Cobb is a good company but man it hurts to see that it is over 900 bucks. I will be doing some more research about CXRacing, I have seen videos online of there cars and have heard good things about there cores they sell on there site. I will not being doing a lot of changes to my car as far as upgrading the turbo. I so far have nothing wrong with the turbo in my 2007 speed and would like to just boost the performance for Autox every once in a while. other than that its a DD and would like to keep it that way. skeeter149 if you don't mind me asking what kit did you end up getting on your car now? | Not Ranked : 0 score I have the cxracing core and used their OTS piping to make my kit. I had to cut a couple of pipes and the BPV was a custom set up also but it works great. My piping is PC black with blue couplers. I hold 19 psi. Total cost was $459.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I just orderd the cx raceing kit from the ebc website through ebay and this kit looks great! The best part is how the main pipe comeing from the turbo goes down infront of the intake manifold and not smashed together with the intake like most kits this pipeing method is a much straighter shot back to the throttle bodey and looks so much better, also the position of the Bpv/bov flange actually makes sence not bending the shit out of the recirc hose like I have seen of Pg kits. I will deff post up pics and comments once I get mine installed this looks like a hell of a deal. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have the ATP FMIC it took me almost 8 hrs. just to installed it. I have a year with it now I like the power of this fmic but yesterday I was driving in the interstate going 135 mph and i saw an object flying towards my bumper it hit my bumper and cracked it. I was checking the bumper and I see one pipe touchin sensor when I moved the pipe it was making a small hole i got fucking mad. it was because of the heat of the engine and friction i will try to reroute the pipe but if im SOL i will have purchase that pipe from ATP or just buy the FMIC from CX racing. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ok guys here is the installation for this FMIC. Mike Bennett's Photos - MazdaSpeed3 FMIC Install | Facebook I bought the original kit from Mazda3Mods before the guy started making the pipes for PG, then CX-Racing started producing the kit. A local guy just got it and CX-Racing has tweaked it and worked out all the flaws in the original kit. The Cx-racing kit is a great kit and you can't beat it for the money. The pipes are brushed aluminum and look damn good too. **You will use your original PS cooler, in the 1st kit Mazda3Mods thought there were going to be fitment issues but it turned out there were none. So you will not be moving/re-locating your PS cooler like its shown in the installation pics I posted.**
