(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Custom catch can media? Is there really an issue with using aluminum vs SS mesh? I would think aluminum is just as safe in terms of anti corrosive properties(god knows most intakes are made from the ish) and I wanted to build my own mini can maybe for the valve cover to intake connection pre turbo... I got some aluminum mesh for like 7$ at hardware store, and was wondering since seeing almost all cans with filter media in them have stainless mesh if aluminum has some property I am not aware of that makes it a poor metal of choice for screens?
