Well we know for certain the CP-e TMIC works better than the corksport TMIC, because you can't even buy the CS yet.

I'll put the CP-e on my car and you can put the Corksport on your... oh wait... it's not for sale.

Anyways, the real point is even if the units perform the same, this is a good price. Greedy, cheap bastards are all too common these days. They have no respect for what it takes to run a business. Operational costs are ridiculous! Some times you're lucky to just cover your burden rate. Everyone wants everything for steal, no one can pay honest money any more. For people bitching about buying an addition $50, when the unit is already discounted 40% off retail... that's fine go spend $50/100 more on another brand you whiny bitches

But its crap like this that has got to make CP-E wonder why they even do sales in the first place. They offer a sale on products and they only hear complaints from people that you cant use the sale on certain items. So next time they wont offer a sale and have no complaints about it. Secondly, I never claimed the CP-e TMIC performed better than any other TMIC. I said that this was a good deal on a TMIC ,and the fact that it's from a reputable shop only sweetens the deal.

This is absolutely true, for the time being you will have to just rest assured that we've done all of the time consuming engineering work on this product (like all the rest of ours), to provide you guys with what we feel is a quality product. All of our engineering, digitizing, 3d prototyping, CAD drawing, is all done in house.

I also understand that you can not solely trust my word, so we will be doing TMIC dyno testing in the near future (Hopefully early next week, if I can get off my computer and actually do some dyno work).

i was not questioning the quality of the CPE top mount. all i was saying is that posters in the thread are in no position to definitively declare this product superior to the CS TMIC (in particular) when 1) no one has a CPE TMIC for public review yet and 2) the CS is not even available for public review.

Comparing their pictures side to side, its quite obvious which one is nicer. Really a no brainer. For pics of the CS tmic, go to their section. Plus, its CP-E, I have both CP-E and CS parts on my car, and while CS is fairly nice, they don't match the quality of my CP-E parts.

Just order this afternoon as well. I have been buying from CP-E since 2005 when I lent them my Mazda6 for battery tray prototyping. From my experiences alone I trust them enough that this product will be great but I am looking forward to the dyno results.

I know some are mad we wanted another 20% off but were all just trying to pay as little as possible...no reason to spend more than necessary as much as I appreciate the company. Regardless we still got a great deal and we should all do pretty well when times comes for re-sale.
