Are there bolt holes in the end tanks? If so, is this a concern?

Price looks tempting. The bolts on the end tank/mounting tabs concerns me.

I believe this is a new cp-e product, anyone know when they start selling TMIC for the MZR?

get the tabs welded if you want.
there are four tapped holes where the cold pipe attaches to the tmic. the tabs are separate.
if you use the bolts on the tabs, throw some loctite in there.

There are tapped holes on the end tanks - but with any such design there are bosses on the inside for the length of the screw.

In short - holes? yes - through holes? no they are not.

This gentleman is correct. The threads are cast in to the end tank.

No one in their right mind would engineer an end tank with holes that go the entire way through.

I dont think so. i was on cp-e site the other day and the tmic wasnt on there. so it was just released.

Worked for me earlier. They must have change it in the last hour. Doesnt work now...

I seem to recall that the gen 1 shroud doesn't fit exactly. But I didn't know cp-e made a TMIC, so you live and you learn.

Christian said good things about the stock TMIC design, but really the gains from getting an upgraded one seem to contradict that.

$200 for meth > $350-$595 for a TMIC IMO. Of course, with the pressure loss from the stock tmic, who knows how hard your turbo is working @ 21 psi or so...

At $350 it is a good deal. I ordered one based on the faith I have in cp-e's quality and engineering. I hope this TMIC doesn't let me down.

I was waiting to see what SURE and Corksport where going to introduce but the current price of this unit makes it hard to resist.
