Default CorkSport brought back their FMIC!??

So I was browsing my newsfeed on facebook and saw that CorkSport was bringing back their 11/11 11% sale. Cool. So i hop on the website and start browsing ms6 parts and the first thing I see is their FMIC. I thought that they had discontinued these? I just figured I'd spread the knowledge. Link below

Yes they actually waited until the week after I pieced a good setup together after years of waiting. Based on my work, I think their setup (pipe size, intercooler size) is good and worth it as far as fmics go. They trolled me pretty good.

Back in the day this kit was known to trip CEL for non-stock MAF housing diameter or other non-stock like flow conditions. Hopefully they have addressed that, but I guess either way it should be fixable with tuning now.

Any concerns about the crash bar covered intercooler?

Personally, I would cut the bottom bar off of the crash bar and open up the grill also but it definitely doesn't have to be done. There's still a lot of exposed area, especially since the lower bumper area doesn't get cut up and the lower air diverter stays in tact.

@dale_gribble Do you have any FMIC recommendations if you dont want to cut the crash bar?

If you get a intercooler that's around 5" tall, it will fit perfect without cutting the crash bar.
