Default Borg Warner efr7163

Hello everyone, this question is for those who has a bw efr series turbo kit from full_race. I'm making a decision on buying that kit but want to know if that kit supply some kind of way to recirculate pressure back to the intake for the maf sensor? It comes with its own bov but it's mounted on the turbo.

The Bypass valve isn't on the turbo. It's on your cold side of the intercooler piping. It circulates back to your intake, but AFTER the MAF sensor.

I think what you think is the BOV is the boost source for your EBCS

Thanks, i thought it was on the turbo from the pics.

So with pressure recirculating after the maf, does that effect the way the motor runs?

No, it just makes sure that you aren't losing already metered air. We have a BPV (ByPass Valve) vs a BOV (Blow-Off Valve). A BOV looks like a boost leak when it activates making your shifts go ultra rich. With a BPV, it isn't nearly as evident.

It's a BPV. Not VTA BOV.
