(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Need some opinions on my current plans. I am currently fabbing a fmic on my MS6 and i feel pretty strongly that i should convert to a blow through maf and then fab up a 4in intake and run my tial 50mm BOV thats just sitting on the shelf from a previous car. Will i run into issues with this maf combo. to help it is going to be a stock size maf housing with a straightner and about 10" of straigt pipe before the sensor. any help would be appreciated |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just curious, why use a 4" intake assumingly on a K04? and then go to a stock 2.5" blow through MAF housing?

That said it's a pointless exercise on the k04 IMO, I could flow enough through a stock size intake to max my k04 and made the same power and torque with a corksport intake as I did with a 3.5" JBR.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score thats good to know as i currently have a corksport but i still plan on running the blow through and eventually upgrading the size of the maf but as of now it will handle my power level just fine. i have very near plans on going to a gtx3076 and cpe manifold and im just doing work in preporation of those mods. im more concerned with tuning and or driveability on the blow through as i am fairly certain it will not hurt to free up the intake side even if not needed on the K04 |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So is there going to be any driveability issue with the blow through set up? I have had great success with my twin turbo mustang converting to blow through but all cars are different. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Many people are successful however most of those people use a honeycomb before the MAF in a blow through setup. Also, I highly highly highly recommend going with a 3" MAF housing for your blow through. The 2.67" housing (or w/e the fuck it is) will max out your MAF voltage much much sooner, and you are already going to have to tune for a blow through setup so might as well up the housing size.

| Not Ranked : 0 score image.jpg My blow through housing is ready for instal next weekend. Pretty excited to see how well it works. I'm really hoping it will support ~450hp before maxing out the voltage but if it doesn't I'll make a 3.5" setup and swap it out.
