| Not Ranked : 0 score Stick with the oem bpv, your car will run like shit with the bov if you're not tuned for it. If your looking for the swoosh sound just buy an intake to satisfy your inner rice. And try to do a little bit of reading/researching before asking questions like this.

| Not Ranked : 0 score As mentioned above, this will kill performance. The reason for this is that you have air that is metered by your MAF sensor. That air is normally recirculated, thus the reading is accurate. If you vent to atmosphere then you are losing metered air, which will cause you to run rich and jack up all your fuel trims. This kills the mazda. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I blow metered air out all the time with no drivability issues and I'm not tuned for it. My fuel trims are spot on. If you have a valve designed to run VTA then it only opens to relieve excess pressure and not at part throttle where it would be an issue. It's a terrible first mod and I woudn't recommend it but it's not an issue if you have the right valve.

| Not Ranked : 0 score First mod??? EPIC FAIL! If you're doing it for the swoosh sound then well   Only real reason to do it is if you're bolted and tuned, and pushing more boost. Some (not all) stock BPVs have failed/had issues when doing this. So for most, why take the chance and just upgrade it if you're going fully bolted.
