Default New OEM Clutch with Fidanza Flywheel Soft Clutch Feel

So I just had a new OEM clutch and Fidanza lightweight fly wheel put in my 2006 MS6. So I picked the car up and one of the first things I noticed was the clutch is now super light/soft compared to before. Is this normal?

Try bleeding the slave cylinder. Make sure you don't have any air in the lines.

Or you could try replacing the slave cylinder.

Only thing is that its easy to shift gears and it does not feel spongy. Its just not as stiff as my old clutch.

I was wondering if it could be I had a version 1 clutch since mine was an early 06 and now I have a later version. Especially since Mazda reworked the clutch and issued a TSB due to clutch engagement point and pressure profile.

Here is the TSB I am referring to: TSB: 05-003/07

Reading the TSB it sounds like they revised the pressure plate. If you did have the original design then it's likely the new pressure plate that is giving you a softer pedal feel.
